Fluorescent Pendant Light or fluorescent lamp is a type of lamp in which the tube contains mercury gas and argon gas with low pressure, phosphor powder that coats the entire inner surface of the glass tube of the lamp. Fluorescent Pendant Light is able to produce light more efficiently than incandescent lamps. Fluorescent Pendant Light produces less heat than incandescent lamps so it is more energy efficient.
